HK, Macao talents have bright prospects in Huangpu

Guangzhou's Huangpu district has intensified its efforts to attract Hong Kong and Macao talents over the past two years with the deepening construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

For instance, the Huangpu human resources bureau and education bureau sent six teams to renowned domestic universities including Renmin University of China, Nanjing University and City University of Hong Kong for recruitment in 2020. There were 101 job vacancies at public institutions, of which two were exclusively for Hong Kong and Macao graduates.

A Macao resident recently chose to work in the Huangpu planning and natural resources bureau after graduating from Nanjing University. He said that choosing to work in Huangpu is not just about personal development. The Macao students study the history of China and the Communist Party of China, and feel the development and progress of the country in their daily life, which give them a strong sense of recognition.

In addition, he is full of confidence and enthusiasm to be a part of the construction of the Greater Bay Area, which is bringing more and more opportunities to Hong Kong and Macao youth.

A Nanchang University graduate from Hong Kong has also been recruited by Huangpu. He speaks highly of Huangpu's talent policies and development environment, and hopes to contribute his strength to the construction of the Greater Bay Area.
