Huangpu's rural vitalization in full swing

Guangzhou's Huangpu district has recently made steady headway in its rural rejuvenation.

Guangzhou Development District Investment Group issued Guangzhou's first corporate bond related to rural rejuvenation. The raised money will be used to build agricultural science and technology parks and push forward the agricultural modernization in Maicun village.

Meanwhile, the enterprise allocated thousands of mu of farmlands in April to develop characteristic agricultural industry and build new-type agricultural production bases in Maicun.

Huangpu's Maicun village will be bolstered as a beautiful countryside that integrates green production, healthcare, sightseeing, leisure, culture and entertainment.

As of now, the village has planted 200 mu (1.33 hectares) of corn and completed the construction of public service facilities. Construction of a boutique agricultural science and technology park versed in soilless farming is being pushed forward. Maicun will be bolstered as a beautiful countryside area that integrates green production, healthcare, sightseeing, leisure, culture and entertainment.

In addition, the Guangdong Seed Industry Group was recently established in Huangpu. It aims to become one of China's top 10 seed industry enterprises with high independent innovation capabilities and competitive core technologies.
