Authorities in multiple Chinese cities are taking restrictive measures to fight against the resurgence of COVID-19. Guangzhou has urged inbound passengers from the below-mentioned regions to cooperate and report to their local governments immediately.
1. Inbound passengers traveling to and from Zhangjiajie, Hunan province since July 17, as well as those traveling to and from Fenghuang county, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture, Hunan province since July 23.
2. Inbound passengers who have taken the China Southern Airlines flights CZ3382 (Zhangjiajie-Guangzhou) and CZ6322 (Guangzhou-Dalian).
3. Inbound passengers from any high-risk and medium-risk area.
Passengers mentioned above are required to:
1. Take all the necessary COVID-19 prevention safety measures and take the initiative to report to local government immediately.
2. Check their health code. If the code turns yellow, please take a nucleic test at nearby hospitals. It will return to green if the result is negative. If the code turns red, please contact the community medical services center as soon as possible and cooperate with further medical investigations.
3. Go to the hospital for treatment if there are any uncommon symptoms, such as fever, cough, fatigue, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, conjunctivitis, myalgia, and diarrhea. But avoid taking public transport.
Other residents should also ensure personal protection against the virus. Always wear masks, wash hands frequently, use serving chopsticks and spoons at meals, avoid unnecessary gatherings and outings, and avoid travelling to high-risk and medium-risk areas until further notice.
