Guangzhou-based China Southern Airlines is a leader among all Chinese airlines in terms of the number of flights, flight frequencies and market share.

The airline operates eight public air transportation subsidiaries, 20 branches, 23 domestic business departments and 51 overseas business departments.

It boasts an extensive air route network with more than 3,000 flights flying daily to 224 destinations in over 40 countries and regions around the world.

The Guangzhou hub of the airline is now the No 1 gateway from Chinese mainland to Oceania and Southeast Asia. A four-hour air transportation circle has taken shape between Guangzhou and other major domestic cities and Southeast Asia, as well as a 12-hour air transportation circle with major international destinations.

Meanwhile, China Southern Airlines is the largest hub carrier at the Beijing Daxing International Airport, and takes up more than 50 percent of slot resources. It is expected to have more than 200 aircrafts at the Daxing airport with more than 900 daily flights by 2025 to help it become a world-class aviation hub.

The airline holds the best safety record among all Chinese carriers with outstanding international safety management levels. It was honored with China's top flight safety award, the Two-Star Flight Safety Diamond Award, by the Civil Aviation Administration of China in June 2018.

Moreover, the enterprise also has the capability to train pilots independently with more than 10,000 professional aviators currently active. Its Zhuhai Xiangyi Simulator Training Center is one of the largest training centers in Asia with the most extensive range of flight simulator models and the longest history of operations in China.
