Four enterprises from Guangzhou's Huangpu district made the 2021 Fortune China 500 list.
China Southern Airlines, which has the most planes and annual passengers in China, ranked 121th with an operating revenue of 92.56 billion yuan ($14.28 billion).

Kingfa Sci & Tech moved up 26 places from the previous list to 304th as its operating revenue increased by 19.72 percent to 35.06 billion yuan in 2020. The world-leading new materials enterprise is located in Guangzhou Science City and has R&D and manufacturing bases in Southeast Asia, North America and Europe.
GF Securities climbed 55 spots to 352nd this year by making an operating revenue of 29.15 billion yuan. Founded in 1991, it is one of China's first comprehensive securities companies, and has ranked among China's top 10 securities companies in total assets, net assets, operating revenue and net profit for 27 consecutive years.
Guangzhou Rural Commercial Bank was rated 448th with an operating revenue of 21.22 billion yuan. It has been listed in the Top 1,000 World Banks by the British magazine The Banker for 11 consecutive years.
The 2021 Fortune China 500 list is compiled by the Chinese edition of Fortune magazine and China International Capital Corporation Wealth Management, and is based on the performance of all Chinese listed companies over the past year.
