6 metro lines to run through Huangpu

According to the recently released Guangzhou Railway Transport Network Plan (2018-35), six metro lines will run through Guangzhou's Huangpu district.

The 107-kilometer Guangzhous Metro Line 28 will connect Foshan in the west and Dongguan in the east. Its 50.2-km Guangzhou section will pass through Fangcun, Modiesha, Huangpu Railway Station and Shihua, with variable transfer options to Guangzhou's Metro Lines 22, 18, 37, and 17. In addition, there will be a transport feeder to Huizhou.

Metro Line 37 will run all the way to Shaoguan. Its 85.6-km Guangzhou section will pass through Guangzhou East Railway Station, Huangpu Railway Station, Luogang, China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC), Folang village, Chicao, Dongfeng and Liangkou.

Guangzhou's Metro Line 17 will pass by CSGKC, Shihua, Huangpu Passenger Transport Terminal, Lianhua, Panyu Square and Shanwan town before extending further to Foshan's Shunde district.

Moreover, Guangzhou's Metro Line 25 will connect with Foshan in the west and Dongguan's Metro Line 1 in the east. Its 39.3-km Guangzhou section spans from Longxi to Huangpu Passenger Transport Terminal.

Guangzhou's Metro Line 29 will stretch 62.3 km from Huadu Square to Huangpu Railway Station. En-route stops will include Guangzhou North Railway Station, Shenshan Industrial Park, Chaoyang, Mawu, Jingxi, Tianhe Coach Terminal, and Tianhe Smart City.

Last but not least, Guangzhou's Metro Line 27 will run 49.5 km from Xinhe to Jiangnan. It will pass by Zhenlong, Fenggang and Xinsha, and may be extended to Dongguan.
