Agreements have been signed for a slew of headquarters projects to be carried out in Guangzhou Development District, involving sectors such as new-generation information technology, biomedicine, new energy, advanced manufacturing, finance and modern services.
Danaher, a Fortune 500 science and technology innovator, will set up its Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area headquarters on the Guangzhou International Bio Island, where it will carry out biopharmaceutical and vaccine research and production.
The Financial Information Technology Alliance will establish a headquarters in GDD and launch an integrated circuit industrial fund in collaboration with Guangdong province. The first-phase of the fund will include around 10 billion yuan ($1.54 billion).
Guangzhou Asensing Technology will move its headquarters to GDD, where it will build production lines capable of manufacturing high-precision integrated positioning systems and inertial navigation devices for 5 million automobiles annually. The project is expected to generate an output value of more than 1 billion yuan once it comes into operation.
The Yunpu Center Headquarters project, developed by SPG Investment, will occupy 50 hectares in eastern Guangzhou Science City, where enterprise headquarters engaging in technological R&D and high-end business services will be housed.

Other projects include the headquarters of Baoneng New Energy Automobile Group, and the South China headquarters of China Railway 17th Group Bureau Group.
