China Nano Valley Phase I comes into operation

The first phase of China Nano Valley came into operation in Guangzhou's Huangpu district on July 1. 

A dazzling light show and electrifying performances were staged in the industrial park to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Communist Party of China.

The valley, which occupies a total floor area of 360,000 square meters in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, is being developed by SCI Group. It is envisioned as a nanotechnology center with global influence.

The first phase of China Nano Valley becomes operational in Huangpu on July 1.

It will bring in key projects focusing on emerging industries such as nano biomimetic materials, genetic engineering, nano photoelectric devices, carbon nano devices, new nano materials, metamaterials, and perovskite technology, and cultivate a group of high-tech innovation enterprises.

With a business area of 3,600 sq m, the industrial park has attracted a bevy of renowned brands including Keystone Cafe, 7-Eleven, and 10 Shanghai.

The 66,000-sq-m first phase of the China Nano Valley, which took just one year to design and build, is a demonstration of "Huangpu speed".
