10 more projects to settle in Guangzhou (Qingyuan) Industrial Park

Guangzhou (Qingyuan) Industrial Park hosted a collective signing ceremony on June 16 for its second group of key projects in 2021.

Agreements were inked for 10 projects with a total investment of 4 billion yuan ($625.2 million). Once operational, they are expected to generate an output value of 6.8 billion yuan and contribute a tax revenue of 200 million yuan.

Of particular note is China's leading kitchen cabinet enterprise, Zbom. It will invest 1.6 billion yuan in the construction of a smart household item manufacturing base, by bringing in advanced production equipment from German Homag.

In addition, 10 projects with a total investment of 2.3 billion yuan began construction at the industrial park that same day. Their output value is estimated to reach 5.6 billion yuan and tax revenue is anticipated to be 260 million yuan.

At a cost of 1.2 billion yuan, yet another 10 projects, with an expected output value of 2.9 billion yuan and a tax revenue of 120 million yuan, came into operation at the park.

The Guangzhou (Qingyuan) Industrial Park forms a significant part of the Guangzhou-Qingyuan Special Cooperation Zone. It has seen an increasingly optimized industrial layout with an inflow of projects.

Five industrial clusters related to smart homes, auto parts, new materials, modern agricultural biotechnology, and food and cosmetics have taken shape in the park.
