Huangpu district has tightened its epidemic prevention and control measures in the face of the current COVID-19 resurgence in Guangzhou.
Local residents should not leave Guangzhou unless necessary. Those intending to leave Guangzhou or Guangdong province must present a negative nucleic acid test result taken within 48 hours.
Recreational venues in enclosed space are being temporarily shut down. Public venues like farmers' markets, commercial areas, recreational facilities, stores, libraries, and scenic spots are required to enhance ventilation, limit visitor numbers, take body temperature measurements, and inspect health codes. Cashless payment is encouraged.
All public catering service providers have to stop providing dine-in services and offer take-away services only. Canteens in government buildings, public institutions, schools, factories, construction sites and enterprises should separate diners into batches, take their body temperatures at the entrance, and urge them to maintain social distancing.
Huangpu residents should cooperate with nucleic acid tests as required.
Residents should wear masks, wash their hands regularly, use serving chopsticks, avoid gatherings, maintain social distancing, take nucleic acid tests as required, cooperate with epidemiological investigations and other anti-epidemic measures, and proactively seek vaccination.
Those who fail to implement the abovementioned measures will be held liable in line with relevant laws and regulations.
