As of now, the foundation has been laid and construction of the major structure will begin in June. Once it comes into operation, the project will accelerate aggregation of the new-type display industry in Guangzhou and establish the city as a world-leading "capital of display".

TCL China Star Optoelectronics Technology is one of the pillar enterprises in the domestic semiconductor display industry and is active in the exploration of new display technologies such as mini-LED, micro-LED, flexible OLED and printed OLED. Its products cover panels and touch modules, and electronic whiteboards of all sizes.

The enterprise ranks 1st worldwide in the 55-inch television panel market and 2nd in the volume of television panels sold in 2020.
