Huangpu launches high-end safety, emergency technology park

The plaque for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Whampoa) Safety & Emergency Technology Park was unveiled in Guangzhou's Huangpu district on April 22.

The industrial park covers 30,000 square meters in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City and features a total floorage of 55,000 sq m.

China's first high-end safety and emergency technology park, it will focus on the development of high-value-added safety protection, risk avoidance and emergency response products relying on new-generation information technology, new materials, and energy-saving and environmental protection technology.

In addition, the industrial park will bring in high-level institutions of higher education and research institutes, build maker spaces, incubators and key State laboratories related to intelligent safety production, risk avoidance and unmanned rescue technology, and set up a supportive fund for integrated development of scientific research, incubation and industrialization.

Top Wave Emergency, Dotek Machinery Technology, Encou Safety and EagleView signed the settlement agreement the same day. Many of these enterprises' products such as intelligent life buoys, unmanned rescue capsules, drainage robots and firefighting unmanned aerial vehicles already occupy a place in the market.
