Updated : 2021-04-20

The Luogang sub-district in Guangzhou's Huangpu district has gathered a number of headquarters projects of leading enterprises, and serves as a fertile ground for headquarters, digital and hub economies, and strategic emerging industries.

Located in eastern Guangzhou, the 22.67-square-kilometer sub-district is traversed by Kaichuang, Kaitai and Xiangxue avenues, the Jinan-Guangzhou and Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao expressways and Guangzhou Metro Line 6.

It is now home to 11 LG industrial chain enterprises, which forms a 100 billion yuan ($15 billion) panel display industrial cluster. LG Display's sole plant capable of producing 8.5-generation organic light-emitting diode panels outside of South Korea is in Luogang and has reached an internationally advanced level in production capacity and turnover since it came into operation in 2014.
