Guide on COVID-19 vaccination for foreigners in Huangpu

Foreigners aged between 18 and 59, or those aged 60 and above whose are in good health condition and need to be vaccinated for special reasons can make reservations for COVID-19 vaccination in Guangzhou's Huangpu district.

Lingnan Hospital of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University on No 2693 Kaichuang Avenue is the designated vaccination site in Huangpu for foreigners.

Enterprises with foreign employees can make group reservations at the hospital, while individuals can make appointments at WeChat mini program Yue Jian Tong (粤健通). Those covered by Guangdong medical insurance can be vaccinated free of charge, and others will be charged 100 yuan ($15) per dose. In total, two doses are required for the vaccination.

Foreigners should present their permanent residence identity card or passport with a valid residence permit, sign an informed consent and statement to bear personal responsibility for all risks, and report their health conditions to medical staff at the hospital.

After the vaccination, recipients are subject to a half-hour medical observation and should pay close attention to their physical condition in the next 14 days. Those feeling unwell should seek immediate medical attention.
