The Lingnan Hospital has set up English signboards, assigned medial staff versed in foreign languages and prepared multilingual informed consents and statements by which foreigners bear personal responsibility for all risks.

The Huangpu foreign affairs office has attached great importance to the connection between local enterprises and their foreign employees, and has teamed up with local health authorities and hospitals to ensure they can receive vaccines the same as Chinese mainland people, reflecting the prominent business environment in Huangpu, said Qiu Zhongqiang, vice president of Procter & Gamble.

The move has further increased the sense of belonging of foreigners, and their confidence in investing in Huangpu, which will attract more excellent foreign enterprises and overseas talents to the district.

As of April 17, Huangpu had administered COVID-19 vaccine to 244,882 people.
