Huangpu offers door-to-door vaccine injections

Guangzhou's Huangpu district is providing door-to-door COVID-19 vaccine injections to large enterprises with more than 5,000 employees, industrial parks and universities as part of its efforts to realize mass immunization.

As of April 1, the district had administered COVID-19 vaccines to 143,000 people. In addition to 28 fixed vaccination sites, it is sending mobile vaccination teams to Jabil Circuit (Guangzhou), GAC Honda Automobile, Guangzhou College of Commerce, and Guangzhou International Bio Island, among other destinations.

The members of the mobile vaccination teams are medical staff from local hospitals and receive strict training before going on duty, according to an official with the Huangpu health bureau.

An executive of GAC Honda Automobile spoke highly of the door-to-door vaccination service, as it offers great convenience to local employees and ensures the smooth production of the enterprise.
