30 CSGKC plots in line for development and urban renovation

Thirty plots of land at China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City in Guangzhou's Huangpu district will be expropriated for development or old village transformation in 2021.

There are 25 projects for development, including a cultural tower, a new energy vehicle production base, an international convention center, a meteorological center, a power battery research institute, a vaccine project, as well as the graduate schools of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Guangzhou University.

The five villages to be renovated are Fengwei, Hetangxia, Wangcun, Tangcun and Yangtian.

The land expropriation and development plans for the 30 projects were released to solicit public opinions on March 8. The consultation period will end on April 8.
