The seventh session of the 1st Huangpu District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) closed on March 1.
The conference approved the work report delivered by Deng Shaomin, chairman of the CPPCC Huangpu District Committee, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the 1st CPPCC Huangpu District Committee.
A report delivered by Zheng Zhuowen, vice chairman of the CPPCC Huangpu District Committee, on the proposals made by CPPCC members since the sixth session, was also approved at the conference.
The seventh session of the 1st CPPCC Huangpu District Committee closes on March 1.
Liang Yujun was selected as the vice chairman of the 1st CPPCC Huangpu District Committee. Yang Can, Lin Shixiong, Gao Shudong, and Pan Qionghui were selected as the members of the Standing Committee of the 1st CPPCC Huangpu District Committee.
A total of 114 proposals were submitted during the conference, of which 30 related to the economy, 33 to urban construction and environmental protection, 36 to educational, scientific, cultural, health and sporting matters, and 15 to political, legal and other affairs.
CPPCC members made a great deal of valuable suggestions on scientific and technological innovation, modern industrial systems, rural rejuvenation, grassroots social governance, livelihood improvement and epidemic prevention and control.
