The seventh session of the 1st Huangpu District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened on Feb 28.
Deng Shaomin, chairman of the CPPCC Huangpu District Committee, delivered a work report on behalf of the Standing Committee of the 1st CPPCC Huangpu District Committee.
The seventh session of the 1st Huangpu District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference opens on Feb 28.
Over the past year, 262 CPPCC members from 30 groups have been diligent in fulfilling their responsibilities in terms of political consultation, democratic oversight, as well as participation in and deliberation of State affairs. They contributed great wisdom to Huangpu's socioeconomic development in the context of epidemic prevention and control measures.
CPPCC members submitted 133 proposal in 2020, of which 113 were filed and assigned to 77 units for implementation. To date, 89 cases have been addressed or basically addressed, while 24 are being solved or put on agenda.
Moreover, nearly 30 suggestions made by the CPPCC members were adopted as part of Huangpu's 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25).
