Intl exchange center elevates CSGKC reception capability

Costing 300 million yuan ($46 million), the International Cooperation and Exchange Center in China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC) has boosted the area's capabilities in terms of high-end businesses, conferences and political receptions.

With a total floor area of 15,000 square meters, the Chinese-styled facility covers 11,000 sq m on the southeastern bank of Phoenix Lake and borders a public park to the northwest. The overall terrain descends slowly from northwest to southeast, gradually sloping down to the surface of Phoenix Lake.

The complex, which integrates conferencing, exchanges, training and accommodation functions, consists of a conference building, a banquet building, two VIP buildings, a swimming pool and several landscaped courtyards. It serves as a significant venue for CSGKC to receive domestic and foreign guests.
