The launch ceremony of the Guangdong Cybersecurity Emergency Response Center (Cybersecurity 110) was held in Guangzhou's Huangpu district on Jan 12.
The center was jointly established by the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department, the Guangzhou municipal public security bureau and the Huangpu district people's government.

It will respond to cybersecurity emergencies of key information infrastructure facilities, information institutions and high-technology enterprises in Guangdong on a 24/7 basis, monitor hidden cybersecurity risks and issue warnings.
Huangpu has a high degree of dependence on the internet and informatization due to the large economic scale, rapid economic growth and concentration of its high-technology industries. The significance of cybersecurity will be increasingly accentuated in the district as construction of New Infrastructure expands.
The establishment of the cybersecurity emergency response center will help Huangpu cultivate a cybersecurity industrial chain, address all kinds of cyber risks in a timely manner and guard the sound development of the local economy.
