Huangpu hosts 1st teenager marathon

Nearly 500 students from 37 middle and high schools attended the 1st Huangpu Teenager Marathon, which was held at Huangpu Sports Center on Dec 20.

The top three individuals of the women's middle school, women's high school, men's middle school, and the men's high school competitions were recognized. First, second, and third prizes were presented to outstanding middle school and high school teams.

The event was part of the "Guangzhou Huangpu Marathon Enters Campuses" initiative organized by the Huangpu education bureau, along with the Baby Marathon at Xiangxueshan Kindergarten on Dec 2 and the Parent-child Marathon at No 1 Primary School on Dec 10. It aimed to help students aged 3 to 18 years old build up their physical strength and willpower.
