Alliance launched to promote marine materials innovation

A strategic alliance for the technological innovation of China's marine materials industry was launched in Guangzhou's Huangpu district during the 5th High-end Forum on China's Marine Materials Development, which was held on Dec 10 and 11.

The establishment of the alliance was under the initiative of 105 enterprises, scientific research institutions, universities, and other organizations that engage in the R&D, production, application, as well as service of marine materials and marine engineering equipment.

The 5th High-end Forum on China's Marine Materials Development is held in Huangpu district on Dec 10 and 11.

The alliance will be committed to promoting the technological innovation, as well as the structural adjustment and upgrading of China's marine materials industry, increasing its core competitiveness.

In addition to the launch ceremony of the alliance, the 5th High-end Forum on China's Marine Materials Development also featured an opening ceremony, symposiums, report sharing, and an industrial exhibition.

More than 500 experts from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, universities, scientific research institutions, enterprises, as well as public institutions attended the event to discuss the development strategy and direction of China's marine materials and marine engineering equipment.

The forum was organized by the strategic alliance for the technological innovation of China's marine materials industry under the guidance of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
