Zhejiang University crowned at data analytics championship

Snow Leopard, a representative team from Zhejiang University, was crowned champion at the 2020 SAS China Data Analytics Championship with a project that assesses the safety and efficacy of experimental drugs in diabetes treatment.

An awards ceremony was held at Guangzhou Science City Convention Center in Guangzhou's Huangpu district on Dec 7.

This year, the competition attracted nearly 4,000 teachers and students from 150 domestic universities. A total of 148 teams from renowned higher education institutions like Peking University, Tsinghua University, Nanjing University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Wuhan University, and Xiamen University made the finals.

Having been held eight times since 2013, the SAS China Data Analytics Championship has grown from a non-profit public welfare event into a globally recognized platform for industry-education integration and exchanges in the data analysis sector.
