Chinese Internet giant Baidu's autonomous driving unit Apollo launched the world's largest autonomous driving platform Mobility as a Service (MaaS) at Guangzhou's Huangpu district during the 2nd Apollo Ecosystem Conference on Dec 8.

In addition, Apollo also released a Lego-styled solution that integrates intelligent driving, intelligent cabins, intelligent mapping, and intelligent cloud services for the free combination of automakers when manufacturing intelligent vehicles.

The world's first operation report on multi-scene autonomous driving was released at the conference. According to the report, Apollo Go is the sole operator in the world that provides Robotaxi and Robobus service in multiple cities, which has served more than 210,000 passengers.

Apollo has recently received permission from transport authorities in Beijing to conduct road tests for five fully driverless vehicles. To date, Apollo's autonomous driving test mileage has exceeded 52,000 kilometers in Beijing and Changsha.
