Multiple rail lines to run through CSGKC

Travel from China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC) to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, Zhuhai, Macao, and Guangzhou East Railway Station will become more convenient with the proposed and under construction rail lines.

The 78-kilometer Xintang-Baiyun-Guangzhou North Intercity Railway will pass through the Matouzhuang, Folang, Pinggang, Zhenlong stations in CSGKC. The rail line will be put into trial operation in the first half of next year.

Designed with a speed of more than 160 km/h, the 33.6-km Metro Line 37 will start from Folang Station to transit with the Xintang-Baiyun-Guangzhou North Intercity Railway and end at Guangzhou East Station. Planning and research of the project is currently underway.

The Guangzhou-Zhongshan-Zhuhai-Macao High-Speed Railway will pass through Yuzhu Station in Huangpu district. With a maximum speed of 350 km per hour, it will enable Guangzhou residents to reach Zhuhai and Macao in about half an hour.

In addition, the 181.5-km Guangzhou-Heyuan High-speed Railway may stop at Hongwei Metro Station in northern CSGKC.
