Convention and exhibition center takes shape at CSGKC Square

Construction of the convention and exhibition center at China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC) Square has been completed recently.

With a floor area of 61,700 square meters, the convention and exhibition center is 23.9 meters high. Its first floor boasts an exhibition area of more than 6,000 sq m, while the second floor has a conference space of 11,734 sq m.

Construction of the convention and exhibition center at CSGKC Square has been completed recently.

The project forms part of the first phase of CSGKC Square, the sole demonstration project for comprehensive pilot reform of intellectual property right (IPR) exertion and protection approved by the State Council.

With an investment of 9.1 billion yuan ($1.4 billion), the square will feature a total floor area of 780,000 sq m for office buildings, talent apartments, an IPR court, an IPR museum, an international conference and exhibition center, as well as a high-star hotel.

To date, construction of Zone A in the project's first phase, which includes the convention and exhibition center, as well as stand-alone office buildings for the green ecological industry, has been roughly completed.
