The 2020 Chinese Tennis Association (CTA) Tour will come to Guangzhou's Huangpu district from Nov 7 to 14.
Top Chinese players Bai Yan, Han Xinyun, and Yang Zhaoxuan have already signed up for the event, which will feature men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, and women's doubles competitions. In total, 64 single's players and 32 double's teams will vie for victory in the main draw of the professional CTA 800 tournament, meaning the champions will receive 800 points in the tour.
The first press conference for the Huangpu leg of the CTA 800 is held on Aug 28.
The CTA Tour is the highest-level tennis competition in China. The Huangpu competition will be hosted by the CTA, China Media Group Youth Sports Center, the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Sports, and the Guangzhou municipal people's government.
The Guangdong Youth Sports Training & Competition Management Centre, the Guangdong Tennis Association, the Huangpu district people's government, and the Guangzhou development district administrative committee will co-organize the event with the support of the Huangpu sports bureau.
