Huangpu launches emergency COVID-19 pandemic drill

An emergency COVID-19 pandemic drill was conducted in Guangzhou's Huangpu district on Oct 19.

The Huangpu Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), hospitals, community health services centers, and member units of the Huangpu Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters attended the drill. Experts of the Guangzhou CDC were invited to assess the emergency response and coordination.

District official Liu Shi attended the event. He urged all units to stay alert to the pandemic, while strengthening the control of international arrivals and people from high-risk and medium-risk areas for COVID-19. The management of import commodities, especially frozen products, was also stressed.
