Development plan of China Game Software Valley unveiled

Updated : 2020-10-20

The development plan of China Game Software Valley in Guangzhou's Huangpu district was recently unveiled.

With a floor area of 500,000 square meters, the valley occupies 8.3 hectares in the Yuzhu area. It boasts convenient transportation, facing Shihua Road to the west, Jingye Road to the east, and Hulin Road to the north.

Inspired by toy bricks, the design of the valley features buildings seemingly strewn at random. It will have a mobile entertainment park, an e-sports park, and an interactive entertainment park to form a 680-meter digital corridor.

The valley will attract upstream and downstream enterprises engaged in games, e-sports, animation, video, and audio, as well as other pan-entertainment information economy sectors to boost the development of game software in China.

In addition, the valley will earmark 30 percent of the land lot for supportive facilities and 10 percent for businesses, with hotels, apartments, restaurants, and shopping facilities all available.
