Various activities in store for National Day holiday

A wide variety of activities will be held in Guangzhou's Huangpu district during the Oct 1-8 National Day holiday and beyond.

The 2020 Huangpu Outdoor Music Season will bring jazz, ballads, a cappella, and electronic music to Lyuzhou Square in Guangzhou Science City from 7:30 pm to 9 pm on Sept 26, Sept 30, Oct 1, Oct 2, Oct 3, Oct 16, Oct 17, Oct 23, Oct 24, and Oct 31.

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) show will be staged at the square outside of Entrance 2 of Nangang Wanda Plaza at 8:30 pm on Sept 30 to celebrate its opening, while an electronic music festival will enliven the atmosphere there at night from Sept 30 to Oct 2.

A balloon exhibition, which runs through Oct 6 at the Southern Neighborhood Center of China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, will offer plenty of enticing photo opportunities. Visitors can get there by taking the metro line 14 extension and getting off at Tangxia Station.
