Xinkuaibao: Regional competition on nanotechnology held in Huangpu

The Pearl River Delta regional final of the sixth Nano Star innovation and entrepreneurship competition took place in Guangzhou's Huangpu district on Aug 11, drawing entries from 24 excellent projects.

The person in charge of the judging panel of the regional competition for the Pearl River Delta said that the competition in Huangpu had gathered a batch of high-caliber talents and high technological companies from home and abroad. 

The person added that nearly half of the 24 teams entering the competition, after the selection process, were from Huangpu district.

The host of the competition said that the competition was expected to find entrepreneurial companies and teams with outstanding development potential, boost the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, as well as help turn Huangpu into a cluster for the nanotechnology innovation industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
