Huangpu calls on market entities' input on business environment

Updated : 2020-08-07

Guangzhou's Huangpu district released a document on encouraging market entities to participate in business environment construction on Aug 4, aiming to further improve the communication mechanism between the local government and companies.

Being the first pilot zone in Guangdong province to carry out business environment reform, Huangpu is striving to become a national demonstration zone for business environment reform and innovation.

The document put forward a total of 28 measures in various areas spanning solicitation of opinions and suggestions to a complaint reporting mechanism.

It noted that policies related to companies are not allowed to be submitted to the government for further approval without soliciting opinions from companies. During processes like the implementation and adjustment of policies, opinions from market entities will also count.

Market entities are supported and encouraged to make complaints against actions that are harmful to the business environment. A reward of up to 2,000 yuan ($287.24) will be available.

Various forms are available for market entities in Huangpu to submit their opinions, such as government official websites, e-mail, phone, and direct mail.
