Guangzhou Haige Communications Group Incorporated Company releases China's first full-chip solution to support the application of BDS-3.

China's BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS-3), which is 100 percent comprised of domestically produced core components, has been completed and has started providing full-scale global services since July 31.

Two Huangpu companies, namely Guangzhou Haige Communications Group Incorporated Company and Techtotop Microelectronics Co Ltd, have made their contributions to the BDS-3.

Guangzhou Haige Communications Group Incorporated Company has just inked an operation deal worth 283 million yuan ($40.79 million) for wireless communications and BDS-3 products.

The company has been one of the first companies to carry out research and development on communication and navigation in China. It has also been active in the R&D and application promotion for BDS-3 products since 2000.

It has since developed into a professional provider for electronic information system solutions and an expert in manufacturing BDS-3 products.

Set up in 2008, Techtotop Microelectronics Co Ltd is now able to produce more than 25 million chips per year and 36.9 percent of the domestic chips for BDS-3 are produced by the company.

By the end of 2019, the company has delivered more than 100 million domestic navigation chips, and its products, such as BDS-3 navigation chips, module high precision board cards, and antennas, have been exported to over 120 countries and regions around the world.
