Nanfang Daily: Huangpu to build China's first big science center for aircraft tires

China's first big science equipment for the dynamic testing of aircraft tires will be built in Guangzhou's Huangpu district, according to the bidding announcement released by Guangzhou Public Resources Trading Center on Aug 1.

A big science center for aircraft tires will be built in Huangpu that will take the aircraft tire dynamic big science device as its core. Supporting facilities, such as a technology center on core technologies of aircraft tires and a manufacturing test base for aircraft tires, will also be built in the center.

The big science center will focus on the current and future development needs of aircraft tires and high-end tires, carrying out research in areas like the design and development of new elastic materials, subversive smart elastomer materials, the interface science of elastomer composite materials, as well as pioneering theories of aircraft tires.
