Adjustments of the new train working schedule for Huangpu tram line 1 have been made since Aug 1, further shortening the train interval to reduce passengers' waiting time.

The train interval during morning and evening rush hours on workdays from 6:30 to 8:29 and 17:19 to 20:20 has been shortened to 10 minutes, while the interval during ordinary hours has been shortened from the previous 18 minutes to 13 minutes, increasing the daily capacity by nearly 24.4 percent.
