Intl bio island achieves full outdoor 5G network coverage

Guangzhou International Bio Island in Huangpu district has realized the full outdoor coverage of 5G networks starting from July. 

At present, Guangzhou International Bio Island has built 25 5G base stations and each station is about 4 to 40 meters in height, with the ability to cover a circumference of 100 to 300 meters.

The full outdoor coverage of 5G networks on the island is expected to offer strong support for the development of advanced technologies like internet medicine and autonomous driving.

Four macro stations and four micro stations will be built on the island in the future to better serve the construction of 5G networks on the island.
