Canopies are set up in the stations to make it more convenient for passengers when waiting for the train or transiting on rainy days.
An additional train running the demonstration section of the Huangpu tram line 1 has been put into operation during the evening peak period from 17:15 to 20:14 since July 17, shortening the previous interval by nearly five minutes.
Relative priority in traffic signals will be offered to the tram line at four intersections to cut down the waiting time and ensure the efficient operation of the line.
Three more staff members will be arranged at every station during peak hours to carry out temperature measurement, further reducing the impact caused to the normal operation of the line due to the required temperature measurement of every passenger.
Passenger information display screens will be installed at the entrance of Changping Subway Station at the end of August to provide more information for passengers about where the next train is.
