Possessing a typical petrographic environment of Danxia landforms, Xieshan Park is named because it looks like a crab's claw from above.

As one of the most time-honored parks in Huangpu district, today's Xieshan Park was rebuilt in 1989 based on the historic sites of Xieshan barbette, which was established in 1885. Some of the relics still remain intact. Visitors can even appreciate the old barbette, laneways, archway gates, and various kinds of pavilions while rambling through the park.

Opening hours: 6:30 am - 9:00 pm

Transportation: Take bus Nos 43, 348, 356, 366 or b31 to Xieshan Stop
