A project invested in by Guangzhou Municipal Construction in the Yuzhu area of Huangpu district started construction on July 11.
The project, which is projected to cost nearly 10 billion yuan ($1.43 billion), includes the construction of a 333-meter skyscraper, which is expected to be the tallest building in Huangpu, as well as a new landmark of the district and Guangzhou.
Covering a total area of 74,000 square meters and a building area of 570,000 sq m, the project will integrate construction and finance to become a headquarters base for the construction industry by introducing various business models like offices, loft apartments, and shopping malls.
The project will enjoy convenient transportation as it is located at the intersection of two major roads, namely Huangpu Avenue and Zhongshan Avenue. It is also close to the BRT station and there are metro stations nearby.
