Guangzhou two sessions uses Huangpu company's new technology

Two patrol robots developed by Gosuncn Technology Group Co Ltd.

Two advanced technological products by Gosuncn Technology Group Co Ltd, a national high-tech company in Guangzhou's Huangpu district, were used at this year's Guangzhou two sessions to prevent and control the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Robots developed by the company were used during the meetings to patrol the whole area. The robots are able to automatically avoid obstacles and choose the optimal paths to finish their patrol. When their battery are low, the robots will automatically return to the charging pile without manual intervention.

The robots are also capable of conducting quick temperature measurement of up to 10 people at the same time and can check whether people passing by are wearing masks or not. 

Alarms will be alerted if the robot reads a temperature higher than the set point of 37.3 C.

With the help of the infrared thermal imaging cameras and recognition algorithms for the human body installed in the robots, they can carry out real-time monitoring of the meeting venues to ensure security.

In addition, the augmented reality (AR) management platforms for COVID-19 epidemic prevention developed by the company were set up at all entrances to the meeting venues. They were able to conduct various functions spanning automatic temperature measurement and online video monitoring. 

A staff member from the company noted that the platform can check the temperature of 50 to 100 people in one minute, with a potential deviation of no more than 0.3 C.
