Huangpu to host national top competition in nanotechnology

The final for the sixth China International Nano Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the top competition for nanotechnology in China, will take place in Guangzhou Development District (GDD) in September.

The competition for the Pearl River Delta area will be held in July, two months earlier than the national final, selecting a batch of excellent companies and projects in nanotechnology. 

The China International Nano Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is jointly hosted by the National Association for the Strategic Innovation of Nanotechnology, the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, as well as the National Nanotechnology Research Institution of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

A total of six sub-venues for competitions are set up in areas covering Beijing, the Yangtze River Delta area, the Pearl River Delta area, the West China area, Hubei province, and Anhui province.

This year's event will focus on the application of nanomaterials and nanomanufacturing in areas like electronics, energy, environment, and health.

The competition has started the application process, which will last until June 30.

The final for the sixth China International Nano Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition will take place in GDD in September.
