Huangpu unveils achievements in patent navigation for hydrogen energy industry

A press conference detailing the results achieved in the patent navigation project for Huangpu's hydrogen energy industry was held both online and offline on May 9, attracting more than 1,500 viewers.

The project was carried out under the guidance of the Patent Examination Cooperation Guangdong Center of the Patent Office and Huangpu's intellectual property bureau.

Huangpu has set the hydrogen energy industry as one of the strategic emerging industries to be cultivated with priority, aiming to turn the area into a national demonstration zone for the comprehensive application of new energy.

The district has attracted a large number of talents and major projects in the hydrogen energy industry to settle down in Huangpu by launching a series of preferential policies.

Qiu Jiangwen, deputy director of the Guangdong Center of the Patent Office, noted that the patent navigation project is meaningful for industrial transformation and upgrading, high quality economic development, as well as the innovative development of strategic emerging industries.

Lan Weifeng, director of Huangpu's intellectual property bureau, said that the project has pointed out the direction for the further development of Huangpu's hydrogen energy industry.

By the end of 2019, the industrial parks for the hydrogen energy industry in Huangpu have applied for 51 patents, ranking fourth in China.
