Pharmaceutical company donates masks to Huangpu

Guangdong Jianke Pharmaceutical Co Ltd donated 30,001 medical KN95 masks to Guangzhou's Huangpu district on March 17, helping the district to fight against the novel coronavirus pneumonia, which was named COVID-19 by the World Health Organization (WHO).

A total of 27 livelihood-related companies in Huangpu, as well as several local medical institutes received the donations, as 21,901 of the masks went to medical institutes.

Xie Fangmin, CEO of Guangdong Jianke Pharmaceutical Co Ltd, said that the company has been devoting great efforts in guaranteeing the market supply of medical supplies used for COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control. It has also offered online free consultation services for the public.

Xie noted that the company has also teamed with the EMBA alumni association of Peking University in Beijing to donate masks and money to the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University.
