Xinhua: Huangpu companies benefit from support from customs

Guangzhou Customs has offered various support for companies resuming operations since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19), Xinhua reported on March 5.

"We have changed the import method from sea transportation to air transportation in order to meet the manufacturing needs. We've received a lot of support and guidance from Guangzhou Customs," said Liang Yu, person in charge of the import and export business of LG Display.

With the help of the customs at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, two batches of supplies needed in manufacturing have gone through clearance without delay, ensuring the normal operation of the company.

LG Display, located in Guangzhou Development District (GDD), has owned several factories in GDD and has more than 20 manufacturers.
