The company is the second in China and the first in Guangdong province that has been listed according to the fifth standard, which requires companies to have an expected value of no less than 4 billion yuan ($568.86 million). The company has launched 60 million shares of about 2 billion yuan to the public and the fund will be used in projects like pharmaceutical research and development, as well as the construction of a marketing network to improve the company's core competitiveness.

Set up in 2003, Bio-Thera Inc is mainly involved in the R&D of innovaive pharmaceuticals and biosimilar pharmaceuticals. Its products have been widely used in treating major diseases like tumors, autoimmune diseases, and cardiovascular diseases.
