Another GDD hi-tech company listed on sci-tech innovation board

Guangzhou Risong Technology Co Ltd (stock code: 688090) has been listed on the science and technology innovation board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) on Feb 17, being the first of its kind in Guangzhou Development district (GDD) to be listed after the Spring Festival.

The company, based in GDD, is a high-tech company managing various areas spanning robots, smart technologies, as well as the research, development, manufacturing, application and marketing of high-end smart manufacturing. The company has been a pioneer in automotive welding in China.

The company has launched more than 16.8 million shares to the public and the fund will be used in projects like industrial robots and smart equipment manufacturing bases to improve the company's core competitiveness in industrial robots.

Currently, GDD has seen a total of 55 companies being listed, as well as three being listed on the science and technology innovation board, accounting for 75 percent of the total number in Guangzhou, ranking first among all districts in the city and pioneering among all development districts in China.
