As over 65 percent of the companies in Guangzhou's Huangpu district have resumed work from Feb 10 to 15, the district has made full use of advanced technologies to support efforts in the control and prevention of novel coronavirus pneumonia.
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been applied in various areas like broadcasting, data collection, and infrared temperature measurement.
These UAVs, produced by Huangpu-based EagleView, can conduct large-scale supervision from up high and send out alarms when catching data beyond the setting, which is time-saving and efficient.
Robots capable of checking the body temperature of people from five meters away have also been put into operation. These patrol robots were independently developed by GOSUNCN Group Co in Huangpu. In addition, these robots can also check whether people passing by are wearing masks or not.
