Huangpu leads in park management

A total of 24 parks in Huangpu district were recognized for being municipal-level parks on Jan 7, of which 14 of them have been listed among first-level municipal parks, which is tops among the 11 districts in Guangzhou.

The evaluation, conducted by the Guangzhou forestry and garden bureau on 210 parks listed in the city's first category of parks, covered various aspects spanning basic management, sanitary control, facilities management, services, greening management, as well as security.

Thirty parks in Huangpu participated in the evaluation, ranking first in Guangzhou.

First-level municipal parks should get no less than 90 points in each evaluation item, second-level parks should get no less than 80 points, while third-level parks should get no less than 70 points.

Huangpu' seven comprehensive parks, four themed parks, and three community parks have been listed among the 14 first-level municipal parks, while 10 other parks have been ranked as second-level parks.
