Two high-precision satellite navigation chips developed by a Guangzhou-based company captured great public attention at the 10th China Satellite Navigation Conference, which is underway in Beijing from May 22 to 25.

The Haitun-1 baseband chip and Beidou-3 RX37 radio frequency chip, self-developed by Guangzhou Haige Communications Group Incorporated Company, are capable of realizing 100Hz location update frequency. When equipped to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned vehicles, and robots, the chips will be able to narrow down real-time location precision to the centimeter-level and even offer millimeter-level location information in monitoring geological deformation.

According to Liu Yan, general manager of Changsha Haige Beidou Information Technology Company, a subsidiary of the Guangzhou company, these two chips will provide more accurate location service solutions for mobile internet, Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence devices like autopilot drones and robots.

In addition, the Guangzhou company also released its special security platform, Chaowei Zhinao, which can analyze and identify the behaviors, bearings, and postures of those who enter its monitoring zone.

The special security platform project has officially settled in Guangzhou International Bio Island in Guangzhou Development District. As China's first indoor and outdoor comprehensive three-dimensional prevention and control project based on Beidou's high-precision technologies, it will help Guangzhou International Bio Island become a new smart city benchmark, a smart space demonstration zone, and Beidou application demonstration zone in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
